What causes delays?
The primary cause for delayed messages would be from leads generated in hours outside of TCPA compliant solicitation hours.
If this occurs - Switchboard waits until the next compliant hours window, which is 8am - 8pm every day of the week (in the contacts time zone), which protects you from receiving TCPA violation fines that can be extremely expensive!
Other delays are because messages need to be sent for delivery. As you can see above - the actual delivery times are quite fast - with 99+% of all messages occuring with 5 minutes.
Reasons for delays include the time it takes to transfer the lead from where it is being digitally created, to Switchboard. We have advanced routing systems in place to determine the agent that needs to receive the lead, identify the best campaign for the lead, notify the agent, and more. This process typically takes around 30 seconds to 1 minute.
So, 99% of your messages are delivery within 5 minutes of origination at Switchboard during TCPA compliant time windows!
